About the Artist

Charline Eppright has been an artist for most of her life. Since 1980 she has focused her attention primarily in oil and pastel portraits. Following in the style of the old masters, she strives to penetrate to the soul of her subjects. Her work has been exhibited in shows and galleries around Texas. Ms. Eppright has been sharing her love of art through classes and workshops since 1976. She has had the privilege of painting many prominent people, among those are the retiring District Court Judges for the Travis County Bar Association, Judge Thomas Reavley, Judge Mace Thurman, and Supreme Court Judges Bob Shannon, Clyde Smith and Will Wilson. Ms Eppright also enjoys painting the Native American Indian as well as children's portraits. She is a member of the American Society of Portrait Artists and the Pastel Society of the Southwest and the Austin Pastel Society, which she co-founded in 1998.
